Gramma quilt

I’ve slowed my quilt roll this year, 

no longer to do feel the need to make a quilt, start to finish in 1 day, 

I’m ok if it takes a little longer 

I felt a pull to these Tilda fabrics, they reminded me of quilts my gramma used to make

Cricut Easy Press

I asked for and received  a Cricut Easy press for Christmas, 

Basically it’s a large flat iron, to use with iron on materials. 

I had some time to play and was able to make a few projects 

Both are heat transfer vinyl, one on a cotton pillow case and the other on wooden blocks, and I already have several ideas for T-shirt’s as well 

I am proud to say, only 1 pillow case was harmed in the making of this project 

Finished Kitten

Finished my kittens quilt. 

A mix of soft blue, purples and pink with some florals 

With a light grey background 

Backed with a soft plush blanket 

Quilted with Bubble Wrap 

First project of 2019

Ive been gathering fabrics for about year now to make myself a Kittens quilt, since it was just my birthday, what better time than to start making my own gift 

there are 5 pairs of cats that make up the 30 cats in this quilt, but I got excited after making the last 2 that I just went ahead and arranged them int he top without taking their pictures
