Seems like a while since I have wrote

I have been working away at my to do list

Been out taking pictures of completed quilts!

I have a few to share, but not today

I started a quick project today

I found this kit with Kate Spain's Central Park fabric and fell in love. 

All the colors and prints are just perfect.

After a search online, sadly I find that is a line of fabric from 2011. So chances of finding more...slim to none!! I may have to go back to the store where I found this kit and snap up what I can

Still a few tops sitting waiting to be quilted

I will get to them!!

Work in progress, holiday

I am on holidays this week

In one of my happy places

I thought of bringing my sewing machine with me

But decided to bring some books instead

 

Kids are having fun

Like I said last week, 

I seem to be collecting quilt tops

One day I will take a picture of my loaded quilt stand

I got my second giant star all pieces and 

added a white border and an outside blue border as well, to make it queen sized.

Lots going on here

3 quilt tops sitting on the rack

743 trees planted

1 sidewalk layed

Sprinklers installed

3.5 acres of grass seeded

1 movie night

I re painted this old radio shelf

It was a closed book shelf in my husbands grandfathers old farm house.

I took the door off and re painted it a nice

fresh color, and now it lives in my 

living room, and is my quilt shelf. Now to just fill it up with super loved quilts.

Today is am starting another quilt,

I have jumped of the hexi train

Love them, and have had this great fabric sitting on my self waiting for the right pattern

I also have a quilt kit waiting to be dug into, Kate Spain's Central Park! Love those colors
