Trail Tote

Boy I have realized, that my post titles are pretty boring
I'll need to fix that

After making my last purse and having a friend want it,
I picked a different purse pattern from Noodle Head Designs
the Trail Tote

This is my first zipper pocket, I am pretty impressed with how it turned out

I used it the next day on a trip to the city,
it was a bit small for my liking, I guess I will make the bigger option
and try again

A Cute little Clutch

In the spring my husband and I attend the
Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation Convention
he attends meetings and I enjoy a few days holiday
doing NOTHING!!

There is a banquet each night
and I wanted to make a small clutch,
something to carry my phone and lip balm

I found a pattern again from Anna at Noodle-Head
this is the Envelope Clutch

front

back

inside, with some wonderful card slots

Once I was finished, I thought the clutch was a little bigger than I had hoped for
so I altered the pattern a bit and made a smaller one

this one will be perfect!!

this is the 2 other together, for size comparison

A Yoga Bag

After seeing my daughters over night bag, my sister in law
asked for one to take to her yoga class

I used the Cargo Duffle pattern again
kept the original dimensions this time,
but added an adjustable shoulder strap and a key FOB inside

I used a double ended zipper, for her to be able to carry her yoga mat

Overnight bag for my daughter

My daughter moved out this last fall to attend college
when she comes home on the weekend she just uses her backpack
so then all it's contents ends up on the floor

For her birthday I decided to make her an overnight bag

I used a free Noodle-Head pattern
for the Cargo Duffle bag

I altered the pattern,
didn't add the from pockets
and made it wider

Again I used the fun fabric I found for her

I gave her the bag for her birthday,
she loved it!!

241 Bags

I have caught the bag bug
After making the Wide Open Pouch from
I wanted to try making more

I went back to Annas site and purchased a few patterns

I made this one for myself, but was asked if I would sell it
of course I will, I can make myself another one

This one I made for my daughter, as soon as I seen the fabric in the store I knew I had to use it for her

Christmas Quilt (42)

I decided this year I was giving my sister a themed gift
a package of Chai Tea Latte for her Tassimo
a gift card to a book store
and a cozy quilt

I used fabrics from my stash
pulled a bunch of black and whites
and tossed in some red for a pop of color

I used the Turning Twenty pattern
seriously that is a super quick easy pattern

A Camo Quilt for my Brother (41)

My brother has been bugging me to make him a camo quilt for some time now
but Camo fabric is hard to come by in Canada

I ordered a sheet set from Caballas for the brown fabric
and have a wonderful bunch of American duck hunters who
come up and hunt on our land each fall, one of who brought me up the white fabric

I used the Framed pattern from Camille Roskelly's book Simply Retro

Forgot to take a final picture of the quilt before I gave it to him,
this is the best I've got
