Crochet Unicorns

Im down for the count, I have gotten a bruised rib and my husband says in couch bound until I'm healed which the dr tells me could take 3 - 6 weeks. Currently waiting for tread to arrive as well, and thanks to a strike at Canada Post, its taking forever for it to arrive from Ontario 

Ive decided to spend my time crocheting and watching all the christ was movies on the Hallmark channel 

I made a couple Unicorns and some Unicorn chromes ornaments 

Christmas Village time

I set up my Disney Village on the vintage dresser in our entry way this year 

My oldest son and his girlfriend helped me set up the Village above the closet 

Pink and Green Patchwork

Ive had a real liking to super easy and fast patchwork quilts, 

these were made with pinks and green 9" squares, super easy and super fast 

this took my less than a few hours to cut and sew back together 

I backed it with a cozy green Fireside fabric

Liberty Giant Star

Ive had my eye on Liberty fabrics for a while but never could get my hands on any,

I found a quilt store in Alberta who carried some and was able to get some and make a Giant Star 

the texture of the quilting on this one is just so amazing

I backed it with a cozy flannel
