In January 

-we had great weather

-Mom had a birthday

-Josh scraped his face

-We hauled the calves to auction

-Steph had a birthday

-We played hockey and skated on the slough

Happy Sweet 16!!

My daughter turned 16!

WOW where did the time go, seems I was hugely pregnant not that long ago, and then I had the most beautiful bundle in my arms

I remember all of it, like it was yesterday.  Cold, Cold day, like -30 or colder even. My dad was shut down trucking so he was the first visitor we had, and then my mom and sister came the next day.

Fast forward, now she is 16!!

I decided to document her day in pictures

First thing in the morning, still looks like the same 15 year old that went to bed the night before. Off to get ready for her busy day in the city.

First stop, Dr Goldade Orthodontist

I happened to mention that we were only the down side of the "brace" mountain, and he replied with "only 10 more weeks"!!! Total shocker, we both thought it would be until at least summer!

From there, SHE DROVE (for the first time in the city)to the mall, where we had lunch.

Then it was off to the dentist for a cleaning

After that, she drove over to Warehouse One to spend the gift card she got for her birthday from her aunty. Then off to the last appointment of the day, the Optometrist

After that we had to get a few groceries, and then off to Moxies for supper and dessert, before she drove us home.

I have been showing our recent Family pictures, while we had the photographer here we decided to get my husbands family pictures done as well. His side of our family opted for more "true to us" type pictures, we were out in the pasture with the cows, and across with the bales.

This is his whole family, along with our combine

This is our whole herd, all my husband has to do is 'call' his cows, and they all come to him. Can you notice how windy it actually was that day?

By this time we had been smiling for about 2 hours already, and freezing as well, it was really cold and windy that afternoon, it was not too bad while we were in the yard getting my family's done, but when we went out in the open is was cold.

Hi there, Happy Tuesday

I CANNOT seem to wake up this morning!, Got my coffee beside me here, hope that helps, guess my weekend away is catching up with me.

Pictures make me happy, I love taking them, looking at them, scrapbooking them, all of it!!

Back on Thanksgiving, we hosted my whole family out here at our farm, and hired a Photographer to come out and take some new family photos, it had been at least 11 years since we had the last ones done!
