Got a little bit more done with my Central Park fabric

Sure wish I could get my hands on more

Got all of the 2 toned turquoise 4 patches done

Nothing has changed on my finished top quilt rack though

A Quilt for Josh (14)

If you are a regular here

You know my youngest has had some health issues

Well he is all fixed up now

This is my poor guy right after surgery in the recovery room

Back when we found he would need surgery,

He asked mommy to make him a quilt

Cause "a mommy quilt will help me get better"

I just used a simple 9 patch pattern

my squares are 5 inches and the finished quilt is queen sized for his bed

The fabric is all flannels,

both the plaids and the solids

and the backing is a nice fleece

He was sure happy to come home from the hospital

to his quilt

He is doing great, getting better every day

Work in Progress

Seems like a while since I have wrote

I have been working away at my to do list

Been out taking pictures of completed quilts!

I have a few to share, but not today

I started a quick project today

I found this kit with Kate Spain's Central Park fabric and fell in love. 

All the colors and prints are just perfect.

After a search online, sadly I find that is a line of fabric from 2011. So chances of finding more...slim to none!! I may have to go back to the store where I found this kit and snap up what I can

Still a few tops sitting waiting to be quilted

I will get to them!!

Work in progress, holiday

I am on holidays this week

In one of my happy places

I thought of bringing my sewing machine with me

But decided to bring some books instead

 

Kids are having fun

Like I said last week, 

I seem to be collecting quilt tops

One day I will take a picture of my loaded quilt stand

I got my second giant star all pieces and 

added a white border and an outside blue border as well, to make it queen sized.
