Wednesday and some Blog questions

I am joining with Mamarazzi, (haven't done this in forever!!),  for her We Want to Know Wednesday!!  This Wednesday the questions are about my blog, which is interesting for me, I feel, much like my clothing styles, my blog doesn't really have a style it fits into either, I guess I am a floater.

So here are this weeks questions:
{1} Please describe your blog. Does it fall into one category or many? How has it changed from post one?
I started my blog as a craft blog, making cards and showing them off. it turned to a photography blog when I started doing that, then it went to some what of a personal blog, with recipes and things I made, and I tried the What I Wore Wednesday, but, let's get real I don't wear anything interesting, jeans and yoga pants with t-shirts.  That is what works for me, and what my hubby likes so I can't see it changing any time soon.  I am trying to find my own style, but seem lost, I like to share the things I make and the pictures I take.


{2} What 3 things do you LOVE about blogging?
- The genuine friendships I have made.  I have "met" some great people


- Having a sounding board, it's nice to know I am not alone.

- The ideas I find, there are tons of creative people out there!!

{3} What 3 things do you DISLIKE about blogging?
-I have over 11000 view, but no where near that in comments, I would like to think if your took the time to view and read what I have written, you could take the time to comment, I mean we all love blog comment right??

{4} What 3 things do you WISH OTHER BLOGGERS would do? Any tips for them?
-. Enable email, so we can continue the conversation.


- Get rid of word verification. It makes commenting hard. Commenting should be easy.

-I do not like it when I leave a comment and ask a question and the blogger just answers it under the original comment, I DO NOT check back on blog posts I have already seen, I would much rather a reply via email, that way I can see that you have read my comment and acknowledged it

{5} I know we all have lots of blogs we read, but what are 3 blogs your never miss?

hhhmmmm this is a tough one, I have lots of blogs I follow, but don't check on daily, I have lots of blogs in my favorites list, but again don't check on them daily, for now I am not sure what my favorites are.

Mamarazzi has been one of the great friends I have met while blogging, she has been a great help, and she is the hostess with the mostest!!

Project Life week 14

I Love pictures, taking them, looking at them, having others look at them!

I am a scrapbooker as well, but I am very strict about getting every picture off of the camera, and out of the computer! I use the project Life album as a Photo album for our every day pictures, and still scrapbook the ones that have meaning

All of the pictures in this spread were all taken the same day

This week was the Annual THWF Awards Banquet

My daughter got 1st for her pictures

My son got 1st for his picture

My husband got 2nd for his Mule Deer

(I got to get me hair done, if that counts for anything, lol )

I used designer paper from Simple Stories

and a page Protector from We R Memory Keepers

Project Life Week 13

I seen something on Julie's blog, where she took 1 picture and made it big to spread across several of the photo spots, and have been wanting to do this as well.  This wasn't the best picture but hey.

- Our poor tree got blown over, (we did stand it back up and tied it down,

hopefully it will re-root and survive)

Project Life Week 12

This week I didn't take many pictures, and some of the ones I did take were with my iphone, so not that great quality, but they still have meaning to us.

Project Life Tuesday Week 11

Alright

I am back with my Project Life

I am all caught up, I did about 5 weeks this last week to get caught up

It took me all week but I am done none the less

This week has a few inserts

I used a very hybrid method this week,

The blu page with all the calves is digital as well as some of my insert pages,

while the rest are traditional PL pages

The Saskatchewan Roughriders came to town this last weekend

to play a Rec hockey game to help us raise money for a new Swimming Pool.

We LOVE the Riders in this family!!

We took many things to get autographed,

moms Rider jersey,

Joshes jersey which is too small ( and has since been framed to hang in his room)

a flag that hangs on the wall in Josh's room as well

These 2 insert pages are both digital

Josh was pretty excited that his favorite player, #6 Rob Bagg was here. He got his to sign his hat, and got a picture just with him.  Aunty Kathy brought us Sask Roughrider Scrapbook paper, which will be great for scrapbooking these pictures for Josh's scrapbook

Project Life Week 9

Welcome to my Project Life post, I have made it, 9 weeks in and still going strong

I found Kathy Zielske's blog this week, she is an amazing woman who also does Project Life, and she designs her own digital stuff and sells them at Designer Digitals.  I used some of her items this week on my pages, as well as a few of her digital scrapbook page templates.

I am starting to mix up the regular paper Project life with the digital items for it, so I guess you would say I am doing it hybrid, and really enjoying it that way

Project Life Week 5 & 6

I decided since I started this late in the year, I better do some catching up.

I am going to post weeks 5 & 6

Week 5

We cleaned off the slough by our house, and the first day the whole family was out there playing hockey.

The kids played hockey everyday after school, they even had grandpa out there with them

My 2 oldest children got great letters, they both entered pictures in our local wildlife clubs' annual photo contest, the letter is inviting them to attend the banquet because their pictures placed

I found Instagram and Diptic this week, and was able to play with the sizes of my pictures. 

I also found a great tutorial from Ali Edwards, putting 2 pictures on a 4x6 canvas which makes them the right size for the smaller inserts in the pages
